FORT WORTH (August 16, 2012) — Gorrondona & Associates, Inc., (G&AI) a professional services firm providing full service land surveying, aerial photogrammetric mapping, LiDAR, GIS, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing services has announced a reorganization. The changes, designed to better align the company’s structure with the future dynamics of the professional services industry include the separation of the firms Utilities Division (subsurface utility engineering (SUE), utility coordination, all personnel, and equipment); Jeffrey Vick, has been appointed as The Rios Group’s Director of Operations; along with Joe Anderson, PE; Chris Hoff, PE; Perry Burnett, and Ron Morgan. This seamless transition will allow the Utility Division to continue providing the professional services our clients have come to expect.
In just a few short weeks, the company has put into motion several areas of restructuring and commitment that allows us to focus on the core components of our projected growth, improved operational efficiencies, and strengthen business units. This reorganization of our divisions will be transparent to the company’s clients, vendors, and employees and is designed to better align the company’s structure and services – solidifying G&AI’s position as an extraordinary professional services firm, offering high-quality land surveying, aerial photogrammetric mapping, LiDAR, GIS, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing to local public/private sector agencies, and engineering consultants.
As an independent entity, The Rios Group will lease office space in G&AI’s existing Fort Worth location. With approximately 25 employees, capabilities, and existing client relationships, they will effectively address client’s priorities to meet the growing demand for M/WBE, DBE, HUB, and SBE certification on state, local, and federal contracts.
