High quality laboratory data is critical to the geotechnical engineering decision-making process. G&AI maintains an in-house full-service AASHTO accredited geotechnical testing laboratory at its corporate office in Fort Worth. Laboratory testing is conducted in strict accordance with applicable state, federal and international standards including TxDOT, ASTM and ISO. Our geotechnical engineering laboratory offers a full complement of testing equipment required to perform such basic tests as moisture content, unit weight and particle size analysis, to more sophisticated tests such as hydraulic conductivity, consolidation, pinhole dispersion and triaxial compression. G&AI’s geotechnical laboratory meets the requirements of ASTM E329 and AASHTO R18.
